Glad you like it SB. There's more to add, & it would be great if we get a lot of BC fans involved, especially on the forum. Any ideas for the site or the forum are greatly appreciated.

I agree with SB, it was high time someone paid tribute to the Corners. I was at the Charlotte in Leicester in April '93, when the Grand National was abandoned. To my shame, it was my one & only BC's gig! Good night though, me 'n my mate spoke at length to Davey 'n Chris (RIP fella) at the soundcheck and after a riproaring set. We then had a few beers in Leicester with some lads who were at the gig. We ended up in this pokey little nightclub, which was smaller than the one on Eastenders and was full of Wicker chairs. The lads offered us a floor to sleep on, but we politely declined and kipped in the car. Happy days! Anyhow, Davey is one of the most under rated songwriters in the UK imho. I write myself and the Corners are a big influence tune-wise. www.myspace.com/mattbailey70Cheers Matt

It's good to see a few disciples still remain, but it is worrying that so many of us only went to the one gig in Leicester in 1993. I have made up for it since though by seeing The EPB many times including a great gig in Berlin and I even put them on at my local cricket club in May 2006.
I have collected loads of gigs on tape and have loads of unrealeased B C and EPB songs such as BC - Faithfull Lips, Bluebell, Some Heart, Love, Julie, Not The Boy, Reason and EPB - Messed Up, Neighbourhood, Raining All Day, Psychic Vs Sexy etc.
I also keep in e-mail contact with Davey and have ordered him the chance to play some Corners tracks at a one-off gig, but he politely declined!
Keep up the good work Kev.

Hi all. Brilliant site mate, Brilliant corners are a big part in my life as Bob Morris is my uncle, even tho i'm only 19 they are one of my faviourte bands, thanks to my Dad, Dean who played/plays them constantly. Being Bobs cousin and in teh same age bracket my Dad grew up with Bob and watched the band grow into what it became. I still see Bob alot. He's now the drummer in a band with his brothers Martin Mike and their bass player "boo" The bands called hooper and they mainly play around bristol playing cover tracks so if you see a flyer with thir name on give them a listen. I will show bob the site the next time i see him, i'm sure he'll be proud to know the band still lives on. Thanks. Sam Stenner.

I've neglected the site recently (due to holiday & working overtime to pay for it) but hope to get cracking again next week.
The lads in this post above say Bob (the drummer) has given the site the thumbs up, which is great news. Also Davey called it 'fine & dandy' after finally reading his myspace mail two months later.
Remember it's a fans site, so if anyone thinks things need improving, changing, adding, deleteing, correcting etc voice it on the forum.
Thanks Kev

Thanks for your efforts in seeting up the site, I've been looking for info on them for ages. Being ancient, I saw them in 1987, the night I got my exam results. Beer + BC = heaven! I've noticed other 1980s indie bands have been re-releasing their stuff recently - anyone know if the BC have any plans? They would have at least one customer if so! Cheers

After a summer of neglect the site should have some very interesting additions. Thanks to Bob the drummer he's passed on some of his personal memorabilia. Also thanks & appreciation to one of the lads on here who painstakingly scanned it all & emailed it to me. I counted 132 scans. Thank you.

Looking fwd to that Kev. Bob's a top bloke, wish he lived in South Yorkshire, I'd ask him to drum for my band. We're like Carter USM in their drum machine days at the moment. Davey has just put some new tracks up on his solo Myspace site.
